Chevy Suburban Differential Leak

Terrance writes: I have a 2004 Suburban with a fluid leak where the driveshaft meets the rear differential. Where do I have it fixed? Is it something I can do myself?

Terrance, You would have to have some tools and a really good knowledge of mechanics to do that job. Also, the seal could be leaking because the bearing is going bad, and that job you shouldn’t do. The dealer might be the best place for this job because they have the specialized training is case it needs bearings.
